Make Your Own Paneer

paneer.jpg

I love Indian food. Yes, it can be spicy and messy, but the bold flavors and complex preparation of classic Indian dishes make the cuisine of the sub-continent a special treat for any foodie.

One of the most widely recognised foodstuffs in Indian cuisine is paneer. Paneer is a simple cheese (used in dishes like Palak Paneer) which has the consistency of tofu.

Apparently, paneer is also one of the simplest cheeses a person can make. I found this recipe on FXCuisine.com that makes it look so easy that I have to try it for myself. All you need is some milk, lemon and a cheese cloth for draining, and you're in business.

It IS easy bein' cheesy!
